After beginning her career in politics and advocacy, Kari shifted her focus to corporate sustainability, where she has led corporate social and environmental initiatives for The Kroger Co., one of the largest grocery retailers in the world. She played a key role in the development and launch of Zero Hunger | Zero Waste, Kroger’s ambitious initiative aimed at ending hunger in communities and eliminating waste throughout the company by 2025.
Kari is proud to be a graduate of Xavier University. She lives in Cincinnati, OH, with her husband and three children.
